This role is central to MoonPay's operational integrity, focusing on protecting the platform and its users from threats. The Head of Trust & Safety will lead teams responsible for fraud operations, conducting investigations, and managing disputes. A key aspect of the work involves collaborating with product, engineering, and compliance teams to integrate safety measures from the design phase.

The position emphasizes leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance fraud lifecycle management. This means using data-driven insights to improve detection, prevention, and response mechanisms. The leader will also be responsible for managing MoonPay's Fraud Partner Program, indicating a need for strategic external relationship management.

Success in this role means maintaining MoonPay's reputation by proactively identifying and mitigating threats, ensuring a secure environment for its 30 million customers. The annual salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $275,000 USD, in addition to a competitive salary package and equity.
