About the role

This role focuses on designing user experiences for Circle's Arc Platform, an enterprise-grade blockchain. The designer will create workflows and interfaces that simplify complex blockchain functionalities like transactions, permissions, and programmability. The goal is to make these advanced features understandable and intentional for users, enabling them to comprehend value flow, costs, and various tradeoffs without feeling overwhelmed.

The Lead Product Designer will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering leaders to establish priorities and navigate tradeoffs across different blockchain protocols, platform surfaces, and related products. A key aspect of the role is identifying scalable models and abstractions for diverse blockchain use cases. This involves translating intricate technical and economic considerations into clear design solutions.

Success in this position means setting the design direction for challenging problem spaces within the blockchain domain. The designer is expected to elevate the standard of blockchain product design across the organization and mentor other designers. This leadership aspect ensures that the Arc Platform's design evolves with intention, clarity, and trust as blockchain adoption expands.
