Role in brief
Coinbase is seeking a Payment Sales Analyst to build partnerships with payment service providers, fintechs, and banks for stablecoin payment products. This remote role focuses on the entire deal lifecycle, from identifying prospects to closing partnerships and integrating market insights into product development. Candidates with experience in payments or crypto sales and a track record of closing deals should apply.
About the role
This role involves originating new partnerships with various financial entities, including payment service providers, fintechs, and banks. The primary goal is to expand the reach of Coinbase's stablecoin payment products. This includes identifying potential partners, developing engagement strategies, and managing the entire deal process from initial assessment through negotiation and closing. Success in this position means meeting revenue targets by securing and nurturing these key partnerships.
The Payment Sales Analyst will lead client-facing discussions with senior and executive-level stakeholders, translating Coinbase's payment capabilities into specific value propositions for partners. This requires a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and the ability to articulate complex technical and crypto concepts clearly. Collaboration is a key aspect, as the role involves working cross-functionally with product, account management, legal, and other teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration for new partners.
Beyond deal execution, this position also contributes to shaping Coinbase's payment product roadmap. By advocating for partner needs and gathering market insights from the field, the analyst will help inform future product development. This dual focus on sales execution and strategic input means the role requires both strong deal-making skills and a forward-thinking perspective on market trends and partner requirements.
The base salary for this role ranges from $68,000 to $112,000, with total compensation potentially including equity and bonus eligibility.
