Key Responsibilities

System Design & Engineering

  • Design integrated security systems including access control, video surveillance (CCTV/IP), intrusion detection/alarm systems, and converged security platforms for commercial projects
  • Develop complete design packages including system drawings, single-line diagrams, floor plan layouts, riser diagrams, equipment schedules, and written specifications
  • Perform site surveys and security risk assessments to inform system design recommendations
  • Select appropriate hardware, software, and infrastructure components based on project requirements, budget, and performance criteria
  • Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, IT teams, and general contractors to ensure seamless integration into the broader building systems environment

Project Support & Client Engagement

  • Participate in client discovery meetings to understand security requirements, operational workflows, and budget constraints
  • Prepare and present design concepts and technical proposals to clients and stakeholders
  • Provide technical clarification and respond to RFIs during the construction and installation phases
  • Review submittals, shop drawings, and as-built documentation for conformance with design intent
