The salary range for this role is between $115,000 and $195,500, reflecting the seniority and expertise required.

• 5+ years building backend systems at real scale - you’ve seen what works and what breaks when millions of people use a product.
• Strong Node.js + TypeScript on the backend. This is your primary stack, and it shows - async code, event loops, and backend architecture decisions are second nature to you.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and REST APIs other engineers actually want to use.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch - comfortable with large datasets, unbothered by a bad query plan.
• Hands-on with Redis and RabbitMQ - you know how to make systems both fast and resilient.
• Confidence around infrastructure: Nginx, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines.
