Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Crypto, you will focus on designing and improving the infrastructure that supports various projects within the company. Your responsibilities will include developing tools for monitoring application performance, managing cloud infrastructure, and automating operations.

You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with teams across different regions. Success in this role means effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring system reliability, and contributing to the overall growth of the cryptocurrency platform.

The salary for this role ranges from $98,000 to $162,000, reflecting the competitive nature of the position.

• AWS: This role requires solid experience in AWS for cloud infrastructure management.
• Terraform: You will improve and manage Terraform as part of the infrastructure as code practices.
• Kubernetes: Kubernetes will be used for container orchestration in the cloud environment.
• CICD: Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for large-scale applications is essential.
• Prometheus: Monitoring systems using Prometheus will be part of your responsibilities.
• GitOps: Experience in GitOps with ArgoCD is beneficial for managing deployments.

• Solid experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes is a must
• Experience in building CICD pipelines of a large scale enterprise application
• Experience in monitoring systems like Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Experience in logging systems like Fluentbit, Loki, etc.
• Experience in maintaining high-availability and low-latency crypto exchange is a plus
• Experience in Linux and Network Concepts
• Experience in GitOps with ArgoCD is a plus
• 4+ years experience in DevOps & AWS
• Ability to code. You are expected to write some maintainable code.
• A strong interest in working in technology and/or financial environments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience in on-premise system is a plus
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across APAC and EMEA time zones.
