About the role

This role involves leading a team responsible for the entire compliance data product suite, covering areas like customer risk scoring, transaction monitoring, and anti-money laundering. The Senior Manager will define and implement data governance frameworks, including data quality, usage, and lineage risks, ensuring data integrity is a core component of technical design rather than an afterthought.

A key part of the position is acting as the final authority on data contracts between engineering teams (producers) and compliance/customer experience teams (consumers). This includes setting control requirements and managing changes. The manager will also partner with senior engineering stakeholders to maintain comprehensive data lineage, ensuring transparency from data generation to regulatory reporting.

Success in this role means guiding the team to prioritize data initiatives based on risk, focusing on high-materiality data elements that drive systemic improvements and clear data ownership. The individual will bridge the gap between compliance subject matter experts and engineering leadership to embed data integrity into technical designs from the outset.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $252,620 to $297,200 USD, excluding equity and bonus.
