What You'll Do

  • Contribute across the full product development cycle, from discovery and research through design, testing, and launch.
  • Design intuitive, data-rich experiences that turn complex information into clear, actionable insights for users.
  • Explore how AI can enhance analytics, including surfacing insights, enabling conversational exploration, and guiding users toward meaningful actions.
  • Partner closely with product, engineering, and data teams to shape solutions, align on priorities, and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Plan and conduct user research (in partnership with research when available), using qualitative and quantitative insights to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
  • Act as a point of reference within the design team for AI and data-informed design, contributing to reviews, patterns, and best practices.
  • Create clear, structured design artifacts such as flows, prototypes, and documentation that communicate decisions and support cross-functional alignment.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience as a product designer in a technology-driven organization with a strong track record of delivering impactful end-to-end product experiences.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design or a related field.
  • A compelling portfolio demonstrating excellence in product design, including work on complex systems, user flows, and data-informed experiences that balance user needs with business objectives.
  • Experience designing for complex, ambiguous problem spaces—ideally with exposure to AI-powered features, conversational interfaces, or data-rich products.
  • Deep understanding of AI interface design principles, conversational design patterns, prompt engineering, and human-AI interaction frameworks that can scale across diverse use cases and contexts.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence product direction, and advocate for design decisions.

  • Data & AI-Driven Design: Demonstrates strong ability to translate complex data into clear, intuitive, and actionable user experiences.
  • Designs analytics surfaces and flows that help users understand performance, identify opportunities, and take meaningful action.
  • Applies AI thoughtfully to enhance analytics experiences, such as surfacing insights, enabling conversational exploration, or guiding users toward decisions.
  • Stays current with emerging AI and UX patterns, and evaluates how they can improve Manychat’s product experience in practical ways.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Builds strong, collaborative relationships with product, engineering, and design peers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities, gaps, and blockers, helping the team move efficiently and stay aligned.
  • Works effectively across functions to shape solutions that balance technical constraints, data complexity, and user needs.
  • Contributes to planning and prioritization, ensuring design perspectives are represented in product decisions.
  • Ownership & Accountability: Take full accountability for end-to-end design within assigned problem areas, consistently improving experiences by identifying and resolving friction points.
  • Contributes to and evolves design systems and patterns, particularly for data-rich and AI-enhanced experiences.
  • Leverage deep research, data and customer knowledge to inform all design decisions, ensuring solutions meet real user needs and business objectives.
  • Influence & Business Acumen: Communicates design decisions clearly and persuasively, using storytelling, rationale, and data to bring stakeholders along.
  • Influences product decisions by bringing a strong point of view and advocating for user-centered, high-impact solutions.
  • Demonstrates strong product thinking by balancing user needs with business goals and understanding how design impacts key metrics.
  • Creates clear narratives and documentation that help the product group understand problems, decisions, and progress.
