Senior Product Manager, AI Transformation

About the role

This role focuses on leading AI transformation initiatives at Crypto.com, a global cryptocurrency platform. The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for bringing AI-powered features, such as conversational AI, intelligent onboarding, and smart trading assistants, from concept to production. This involves defining success metrics, conducting A/B tests, and ensuring these features enhance user engagement and operational efficiency.

The position requires leading cross-functional teams composed of ML engineers, data scientists, designers, and backend engineers. A key aspect of the role is evaluating and integrating large language model (LLM) and generative AI capabilities, balancing rapid innovation with safety and compliance requirements. The manager will also build an internal AI enablement playbook to foster broader adoption of AI tools across the organization.

Success in this role means effectively translating ambiguous AI opportunities into clear product specifications and rollout plans. It also involves managing vendor relationships for AI/ML infrastructure and reporting progress and strategic direction to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of shipping AI products that have served real users and can influence stakeholders on AI adoption strategy.

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $200,000 USD annually.

• Lead cross-functional squads of ML engineers, data scientists, designers, and backend engineers to deliver AI products end-to-end

• Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, fine-tuning, and evaluation frameworks — you can hold your own in technical discussions with ML engineers
• Experience with conversational AI platforms (e.g. Dialogflow, Rasa, custom LLM-based agents) and measuring their effectiveness
• Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous AI opportunities into concrete product specs, build-vs-buy decisions, and phased rollout plans
• Strong data intuition — comfortable with SQL, analytics dashboards, and experiment design
• Experience in fintech, crypto, or high-compliance environments is a strong plus
• Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders (C-suite, engineering leads, compliance) on AI adoption strategy
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree in AI/ML is a plus but not required — shipped products matter more than credentials
