Senior Solidity Developer

About the role

This role focuses on developing and enhancing smart contracts for a DeFi protocol. The work involves designing contract architectures with an emphasis on security and scalability, as well as researching and implementing new development patterns. A key aspect of the job is optimizing contracts for gas efficiency and overall performance.

The Senior Solidity Developer will contribute to building supporting modules and services around the protocol. This includes collaborating with backend and product teams to integrate business logic into the smart contracts. The position requires a deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and experience deploying and maintaining complex smart contracts on mainnet.

Success in this position means delivering secure, scalable, and efficient smart contract solutions for the DeFi protocol. This involves applying strong knowledge of smart contract security principles, participating in code reviews and contract audits, and potentially contributing to open-source or existing DeFi projects. The ideal candidate will have a background in mathematics, computer science, or a related field.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 USD.

• Upper-intermediate English (B2+)
• 5+ years of experience in Solidity development (production level)
• Experience implementing complex business logic and mathematical computations in Solidity
• Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)
• Hands-on experience deploying and maintaining complex smart contracts on mainnet
• Knowledge of smart contract security principles (reentrancy, overflow, etc.)
• Experience with code reviews and contract audits
• Participation in open-source or DeFi projects
• Understanding of Layer 2 architecture
