About the role

This position focuses on the full lifecycle of smart contract development for NAVI Protocol, a key player in the Sui DeFi ecosystem. The engineer will be responsible for creating production-grade smart contracts that power lending, borrowing, and vault functionalities. This includes ensuring these contracts are robust, secure, and seamlessly integrate with existing blockchain infrastructure.

A critical aspect of this role is maintaining the integrity and security of the protocol's code. The engineer will lead security reviews and work closely with external audit firms to validate the safety of smart contracts, which manage substantial assets. This collaboration is essential to uphold the protocol's zero-tolerance security standards.

The successful candidate will contribute to a core engineering team that manages a significant portion of the Sui network's lending market. This involves driving innovation in DeFi primitives, including liquid staking derivatives (LSDeFi) and automated vaults. The work directly impacts nearly a million users and hundreds of millions in assets, requiring a security-first mindset.

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $225,000 annually.
