What You’ll Own & Drive

  • Global Tax Compliance & Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, maintaining compliance with applicable regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Tax Provision & Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including deferred tax calculations in collaboration with the accounting team.
  • Financial Statement Disclosures: Prepare and review income tax-related notes within financial statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Accounting, and Legal teams to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Executive Reporting: Prepare and present tax-related analysis, insights, and reporting to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Regulatory Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with tax authorities, addressing inquiries and ensuring proactive compliance.
  • EMEA Tax Oversight: Provide strategic oversight for tax compliance and planning across the EMEA region, working closely with external tax advisors to ensure alignment with local regulations and corporate policies.
  • LATAM Tax Supervision: Oversee tax compliance and reporting activities in LATAM, providing guidance to ensure adherence to local tax laws and regulations.
  • Tax Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s global tax position while maintaining compliance.
  • Uncertain Tax Positions: Manage and document uncertain tax positions (UTPs), ensuring proper evaluation, reporting, and risk management.
  • Audit Support: Support tax audits and liaise with external auditors, providing documentation and resolving tax-related inquiries.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • Proven experience in corporate tax, public accounting, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. corporate tax regulations and ASC 740 tax provision requirements.
  • Experience managing international tax compliance, particularly across EMEA and LATAM regions.
  • Hands-on experience with deferred tax calculations, tax reporting, and financial statement disclosures.
  • Experience working with external tax advisors and auditors.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
