This role focuses on leading the end-to-end delivery of multiple projects and programs within product and engineering teams. The work involves continuous monitoring of scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, dependencies, risks, and success metrics to ensure projects stay on track. A key aspect is coordinating across various internal teams, including Engineering, Product, Compliance, Risk, Security, and Operations, as well as external partners.

The Technical Program Manager will facilitate both technical and business discussions, documenting decisions to ensure clarity and alignment. Establishing governance processes, providing status reports, and managing executive communications are also core responsibilities. Success in this position means effectively monitoring program performance through KPIs, SLAs, and operational metrics, and ensuring smooth development and release cycles.

This position supports the development and release cycles, including production deployments, change management, and communicating breaking changes to internal and external partners. Collaboration with third-party vendors, financial institutions, and technology partners is also required, especially for large-scale technical projects involving distributed systems, APIs, and cloud platforms within the fintech space.

The base salary for this role ranges from $145,000 to $175,000, with the final amount determined by experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

  • 4–7 years of experience in Technical Program Management or Technical Project Management
  • 2+ years of experience in supporting fintech initiatives, such as banking, payments, trading, or other financial services concepts
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
  • Experience managing large-scale technical projects involving distributed systems, APIs, cloud platforms, etc
  • General knowledge of financial regulations and compliance frameworks such as KYC, AML, Customer Risk Rating, Watchlists, etc.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar platforms
