The salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $150,000 annually, in addition to a discretionary bonus.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage partnership tax compliance for Galaxy’s asset management funds and other partnership entities within Galaxy’s structure, including preparation and review of tax workpapers and Schedule K-1 reporting
- Work closely with members of the Tax and Finance teams
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and fund administrators
- Assist with tax compliance for Galaxy’s holding and operating partnership (“Up-C” structure)
- Help prepare quarterly taxable income allocations
- Track IRC 704(c) layers for digital assets and investments
- Calculate estimated TRA payments
- Help manage day-to-day operational tasks for partnerships tax matters, including but not limited to reviewing and responding to notices, preparing IRS forms, and updating/maintaining organized tax files and workpapers
- Assist with ad hoc projects and perform analysis in connection with business directives and initiatives as the digital asset and blockchain landscape evolves
- Partner with outside tax counsel and Big 4 firms on strategic business and restructuring initiatives
- Embrace and champion the thoughtful adoption of AI to improve team performance and business outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data copilots) to improve productivity, decision-making, and output quality in your day-to-day work.
What We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years of progressive partnership tax experience in a public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) and/or private industry
- Experience in asset/investment management, including fund-of-fund investments, financial services/technology, and/or banking/capital markets
- Firm understanding of partnership tax laws and principles, as well as familiarity with international and corporate tax matters
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently, but within a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- CPA license required, Master’s in Taxation and/or Juris Doctor a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
