What You’ll Do

  • Rotate through 3 product design teams over 12 months, building your skills across different problem spaces.
  • Work closely with design leaders and product managers to understand how our customers use Datadog and what they need to succeed.
  • Bring ideas to life through research, prototyping, and interaction design, then ship them in production.
  • Document and present your design to the team and work to get buy-in from key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate directly with engineers to understand technical constraints and opportunities.

Who You Are

  • You are in the process of receiving/ have a degree in Computer Science or Human Computer Interaction or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • You are able to start full-time beginning fall 2026.
  • Have a portfolio with a solid foundation in human-centered practices that showcases strong interaction and visual design skills.
  • Ability to express ideas via rich stories, prototypes and code.
  • Aptitude to come up with novel, simple solutions for complex problems.
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
  • Experience with Vibecoding and GenerativeAI tools.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, curiosity and eagerness to learn and grow.
