About the role

This role focuses on expanding OKX's crypto ecosystem by identifying and implementing new features and scalable solutions for users and business partners. The Business Engineer will apply their understanding of crypto products, blockchain technology, and market dynamics to deliver these solutions. This involves breaking down complex engineering projects into manageable tasks and collaborating with various teams to ensure successful completion.

A key aspect of the position is the ability to independently identify stakeholders and align cross-functional partners to achieve project goals. The engineer will design and build complete mobile systems, from initial architecture to launch strategy, and write production-quality code with an emphasis on maintainability, documentation, and testing. Providing constructive feedback during code reviews and acting on feedback for their own code are also important responsibilities.

Success in this role means serving as a subject matter expert within the mobile engineering team, offering consultation on domain-level projects, and building strong relationships with internal stakeholders. The engineer will share project updates and influence decisions using data-driven insights. They will also contribute to team growth by participating in the interviewing and onboarding of new team members.

The listed salary range for this position is between $180,000 and $320,000 USD.

• Experience working in fintech, crypto, or Web3 environments.
