Corporate Accounting Manager

This role involves taking full responsibility for key aspects of the month-end close, including specific general ledger areas, intercompany transactions, and allocations. The successful candidate will ensure clear documentation, maintain tight controls, and establish a reliable review schedule for the team. A significant part of the work will also involve leveraging AI tools to improve the quality of the close process, such as identifying issues earlier, refining flux and variance reviews, and developing checklists and control documentation.

The Accounting Manager will also lead various cross-functional initiatives, ranging from system implementations and process improvements to audits and setting up new entities. This includes defining clear timelines, establishing milestones, and maintaining consistent communication throughout these projects. Collaboration is key, as the role requires close partnership with departments like FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Accounts Payable to ensure accounting projects progress smoothly.

Success in this position means bringing operational rigor to make the close and reporting processes more scalable and ready for audits, supporting the company's future growth. The role also includes mentoring junior team members by setting clear goals, providing regular feedback, and actively investing in their professional development as the team expands. Additionally, the manager will support business reporting needs, from routine management reports to ad hoc analyses.

The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $157,000 to $180,000 per year.

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally at a high-growth or multinational SaaS company.
• Solid grounding in US GAAP, expense allocations, and intercompany accounting.
• Comfort with multi-currency accounting and reporting across global entities.
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems like NetSuite, Zip, Ramp or similar tools.
• Some exposure to public-company readiness or internal controls frameworks (SOX experience is a plus).
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of driving cross-functional initiatives from kickoff to completion.
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to partner across teams.
• A genuine enthusiasm for process improvement and staying efficient in a fast-paced environment.
