As a Credit Trader you will:
- Execute a variety of credit structures, from credit agreements to control agreements.
- Develop new credit structures, agreements, and documentation as the loan portfolio mix changes.
- Take a solutions-based approach to originating solutions to client needs and drive revenue growth in diverse market conditions.
- Negotiate, prepare, and close all legal contracts within the lending business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to qualify and structure credit opportunities to scale our lending business.
- Move and track collateral across multiple venues and business lines in order to optimize utilization, yield and funding.
- Create detailed memos and runbooks on operationalization of current as well future funding facilities across CeFi and DeFi.
- Originate and manage key external funding partner relationships.
- Regularly analyze risks levels and market trends to identify areas of optimization and lead improvements.
You may be a fit for this role if you have:
- 6+ years of experience in credit trading and/or financial products structuring. Experience at a tier 1 investment bank strongly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of crypto markets, especially as relates to financing. Experience with lending or related role at a top crypto platform strongly preferred.
- Experience structuring and developing complex financial products with large institutions as well as startups.
- Strong familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for US financial products.
- Experience building strong cross-functional partnerships with legal, operations, compliance, sales and business teams.
- A highly collaborative, team player mindset.
