Role in brief
Iftother is looking for a senior Crypto Operations Lead to build and manage their on-chain treasury operations. The role involves overseeing security, liquidity, and incident response for crypto assets across various legal entities. This position suits an experienced crypto-native operator with a strong background in self-custody and Gnosis Safe, who can design and implement robust operational frameworks.
About the role
This role involves taking full ownership of Iftother's on-chain treasury operations. The Crypto Operations Lead will be responsible for the integrity and security of crypto assets across multiple jurisdictions and legal entities. This includes managing daily operations, defining incident response protocols, and overseeing the operational stack from monitoring to post-mortems. The position requires a hands-on approach to designing and executing operational frameworks.
A key aspect of this role is managing the liquidity component of the treasury within defined risk parameters and overseeing crypto and fiat payment execution. The lead will also be responsible for crypto treasury reporting, ensuring accurate position reconciliation and data quality for financial records. Over time, this role will expand to include design ownership of the wallet architecture, evolving from the initial framework provided by the CFO.
Success in this position means establishing an institutional-grade, self-custodied crypto treasury function. This involves partnering with the Finance team and collaborating with Security and Investment functions. The ideal candidate will bring an engineering rigor to their work, focusing on automation, comprehensive documentation, and deployable infrastructure to ensure a resilient and scalable treasury operation.
The competitive salary for this position ranges from $135,000 to $225,000.
