Frontend Engineer

About the role

This position focuses on developing and maintaining the core product interfaces for SwapRail, using React and React Native. The work involves creating complex trading flows, such as quoting, routing visualization, and managing execution states. A key part of the role is integrating wallet connectivity and blockchain data directly into the user interface layers, ensuring a seamless experience for users interacting with decentralized applications.

The engineer will be responsible for building real-time data-driven interfaces, displaying information like prices, balances, and transaction states accurately and efficiently. This includes designing and implementing reusable UI components and entire design systems to maintain consistency and scalability. Optimizing rendering performance is crucial, especially when dealing with high-frequency data updates characteristic of trading environments.

Success in this role means effectively handling various edge cases, such as pending transactions, failed states, and network inconsistencies, to provide a robust user experience. The Frontend Engineer will collaborate closely with backend and wallet engineers to ensure alignment on data contracts and user experience behaviors, contributing to a cohesive product development cycle.

The listed salary range for this position is $48,000 to $60,000 USD.
