Lead Product Designer

About the role

This role focuses on designing the foundational elements of Circle's platform, specifically addressing how users interact with core systems. You will be responsible for auditing current, disparate workflows and integrating them into a unified platform experience. This involves creating intuitive designs for user roles, permissions, and team management, simplifying complex logic for both administrators and end-users.

A key part of the work involves developing a scalable billing and subscription system that harmonizes payment processes across Circle's ecosystem. Additionally, you will tackle high-stakes security flows, including multi-factor authentication, single sign-on setup, and account recovery, ensuring that strong security measures are implemented without compromising usability for the end-user.

Success in this position means bringing order to existing complexities, designing systems that are both secure and user-friendly, and contributing to the maturation of Circle's core platform infrastructure. The company is moving from rapid expansion to sophisticated scaling, and this role is crucial in building stable and visible systems for its global economy platform.

The salary range for this role is between $172,500 and $225,000 USD.
