What You’ll Do
- Office Operations & Facilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all day-to-day operations in the NYC office, from employee snack requests to equipment setup. Proactively identify and resolve operational issues before they become disruptions. You’re the person who needs to notice the broken lightbulb, the flickering Zoom TV, the empty paper towel roll, and smoothly fix the issues or escalate to the vendors who can.
- Manage vendor relationships, office supplies, kitchen inventory, equipment, and office services; anticipate needs before they become asks. Coordinate with building management on maintenance, repairs, security, and space planning.
- Partner with IT and HR on procurement, invoices, and expense coding.
- Plan and own setup/breakdown for occasional team lunches or happy hours.
Requirements
- 1 year of office management, workplace operations, or in an Executive or Admin Assistant role is a plus, but not required if you have relevant experience in a non-corporate environment.
- Strong organizational skills and an unflappable demeanor.
- A bias toward ownership and comfort juggling priorities and shifting gears quickly in a startup environment.
- Discretion and sound judgment with sensitive information.
- Ability to lift and move office supplies up to roughly 20 lbs as needed.
