Sapio LIMS Expert

About the role

This role focuses on bridging the gap between scientific laboratory operations and technical LIMS solutions. The expert will engage directly with scientists and lab managers to understand their current workflows, then analyze and standardize these processes for implementation within Sapio LIMS. A key part of the work involves documenting functional requirements, data structures, and integration needs to ensure the LIMS solutions are both structured and compliant.

The position requires close collaboration with various internal teams, including Product Managers, Solution Architects, and development teams, to validate proposed solutions. This involves creating detailed user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and developing test scenarios, as well as supporting user acceptance testing. The expert is also responsible for identifying potential project risks and dependencies, and proposing strategies to mitigate them.

Success in this role means effectively translating complex laboratory processes, particularly within histopathology, into robust and scalable Sapio LIMS configurations. This involves not only the technical definition of requirements but also preparing training materials and supporting the rollout of new solutions. The expert ensures that the LIMS system accurately reflects scientific workflows and meets the needs of laboratory users.

The salary for this full-time remote position ranges from $80,500 to $138,000 USD.
