The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in platform or infrastructure roles, with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing engineering teams.

The salary range for this position is between $170,000 and $207,000 USD annually.

• Set technical direction for platform architecture and ensure roadmap execution.

• Oversee cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and operational tooling in a regulated environment.
• Design and build AI-powered internal tools and agentic workflows that automate tasks and augment engineering productivity.
• Improve developer productivity by reducing friction in onboarding, CI/CD, and local-to-prod workflows.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, observable, and resilient as Shakepay grows.
• Own incident management practices, postmortems, and sustainability of the on-call rotation.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering, security, and compliance stakeholders.
• Advocate for platform work by tying technical initiatives to business and customer impact.

• 10+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles.
• 3+ years managing and growing high-performing teams.
• Familiarity with technologies like Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, ArgoCD, Datadog, PostgreSQL, CI/CD tooling, and GitOps.
• Experience operating production systems and supporting on-call rotations.
• Ability to set technical direction across both developer experience and infrastructure.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a focus on business impact.
• Comfort using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow to accelerate development, debugging, and learning.
