About the role
This role involves taking ownership of the month-end close for both loan accounting and digital asset activities. The Senior Manager will oversee the accounting for loan origination, servicing, and sales, as well as transactions involving cryptocurrency and digital wallets. A key part of the work includes managing reconciliations across loans, custodial records, and blockchain-based assets.
The position requires collaboration with Product and Data teams to align product flows with ledger entries and enhance data integrity. Candidates will be expected to drive automation in reporting, reconciliations, and transaction tracking. This includes maintaining accounting policies, controls, and documentation in conjunction with the Technical Accounting department, and designing scalable accounting solutions for new product launches.
Success in this role means leading and developing an accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to the efficiency of accounting processes within a rapidly evolving financial technology environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong systems mindset and a proven ability to improve workflows, moving beyond just operating existing systems.
The salary for this position ranges from $131,750 to $178,250 annually.

- 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 in a manager role (loan accounting, fintech, or high-growth environment preferred)

- Experience designing or improving accounting systems and workflows, not just operating within them
- Exposure to digital assets, crypto, or blockchain-based systems preferred but not required
