Senior .Net Engineer (+Blazor)

About the role

This role focuses on modernizing the IT infrastructure for an established American credit insurance company. The work involves upgrading legacy systems, automating agent management processes, and implementing other strategic enhancements as part of a digital transformation. The Senior .NET Engineer will be responsible for both backend development using C#/.NET and frontend development with Blazor, contributing to a comprehensive overhaul of the client's technology stack.

The position requires close collaboration with business analysts and technical teams on the client side to ensure requirements are clearly understood and solutions are effectively refined. A key aspect of the role is defining modernization plans and justifying architectural decisions, which means contributing to the technical roadmap. The engineer will also be involved in improving team processes and ensuring high code quality.

Success in this role means taking full ownership of tasks, from initial requirements analysis through to deployment. This includes identifying dependencies, proactively escalating any roadblocks, and evaluating technical risks to propose mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will also document architectural decisions, demonstrating a thorough approach to development and system design within an enterprise environment.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $195,500 USD.
