Stablecoin Systems Operator
Role in brief
HAZZA Network is building a payment network connecting traditional finance with crypto. This role involves managing daily stablecoin operations, including on-chain settlements, reconciliation, and wallet infrastructure. It requires a candidate with significant experience in crypto operations, specifically with stablecoin flows and institutional custody platforms, who is comfortable with on-call duties and regulatory compliance.
About the role
This position focuses on the daily operation of stablecoin systems within HAZZA Network, a platform designed to integrate cryptocurrency payments into existing financial infrastructure. The role involves executing and monitoring stablecoin flows, coordinating with issuers for mint and burn processes, and managing on-chain settlements and transaction broadcasting. A key aspect is gas management and ensuring the smooth functioning of these critical financial operations.
The operator will also be responsible for maintaining data integrity by reconciling on-chain states with custody systems and off-chain ledgers, investigating any discrepancies. Managing the network's wallet infrastructure across various multi-sig and MPC providers is central to the role. This includes developing and updating operational runbooks, signing policies, and approval workflows to ensure secure and efficient processes.
Success in this role means ensuring the continuous and secure operation of stablecoin systems. This involves leading incident response during on-call rotations, performing root-cause analysis, and conducting post-mortems for any operational issues. The operator will also monitor multi-chain deployments for anomalies, coordinate with compliance teams on regulatory matters like the Travel Rule, and collaborate with engineering to enhance operational tooling and automation.
The base salary for this role ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 USD annually, with the company stating it pays approximately 20% above industry benchmarks.
Skills that matter here
- stablecoin flows: This role requires hands-on experience in managing the complete lifecycle of stablecoin transactions, including minting, burning, and on-chain settlement.
- institutional custody platform: The operator must have deep knowledge of platforms like Fireblocks or BitGo, specifically regarding signing policies and transaction approval workflows.
- Ethereum: Direct operational experience with the Ethereum blockchain is necessary for managing transactions and monitoring deployments.
- Solana: Experience with Solana is required, alongside Ethereum, for managing multi-chain deployments and transactions.
- USDC, USDT, PYUSD: A strong understanding of the mechanics behind these specific stablecoins, including their mint/burn processes and reserve flows, is essential.
- Travel Rule: Coordination with compliance on regulatory requirements such as the Travel Rule and OFAC screening is part of the operational responsibilities.

From the employer
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor daily stablecoin flows on the network: mint/burn coordination with issuers, on-chain settlement, transaction broadcasting, gas management.
- Run reconciliation between on-chain state, custody systems, and off-chain ledgers; investigate and resolve breaks.
- Operate the network's wallet infrastructure across multi-sig and MPC providers (Fireblocks, BitGo, Copper, Safe, Anchorage, or similar).
- Build and maintain operational runbooks, signing policies, and approval workflows.
- Lead the on-call rotation for stablecoin operations; own incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-mortems.

- Coordinate with compliance on Travel Rule, OFAC screening, and transaction monitoring at the operational layer.
- Work with engineering on tooling improvements: dashboards, alerting, automation of recurring ops tasks.
- Serve as the operational point of contact for stablecoin issuers, custodians, and key infrastructure partners.
What We're Looking For
Must have
- 5+ years in operations, treasury operations, or production engineering — at least 3 of those in a crypto, stablecoin, or digital asset context.
- Hands-on experience operating stablecoin flows in production: mint/burn coordination, on-chain settlement, reserve reconciliation.
- Deep working knowledge of at least one institutional custody platform (Fireblocks, BitGo, Copper, Anchorage, Safe) including signing policies, transaction approval flows, and key management.
- Direct operational experience on Ethereum and at least one of Solana, Tron, Base, Arbitrum, or Optimism.
- Strong understanding of stablecoin mechanics — USDC, USDT, PYUSD — and how mint/burn, attestations, and reserve flows actually work.
- Familiarity with the post-GENIUS Act US regulatory landscape for payment stablecoins, including FinCEN MSB obligations, OFAC screening, and the Travel Rule.
- Comfort with on-call rotations and incident response on production systems where money is at stake.
- US citizen or permanent resident with full work authorization — no sponsorship offered, now or in the future.
- Fluent professional English.
Personal qualities that matter to us
- Discretion. You’ll be operating wallets and signing flows that move significant value. We need someone who treats access, key material, and partner data with the seriousness they deserve.
- Calm under pressure. When a chain reorg, a stuck transaction, or a partner outage happens at 2 AM, we need someone who runs toward the problem methodically rather than panicking.
- Long-term operator mindset. Operations is a discipline that compounds. We’re building a system that will run for a decade, not patching things until the next funding round.
- Bias toward documentation. If it’s not in a runbook, it didn’t happen. We hire people who write things down.
What We Offer
- $210,000-$250,000 base salary, approximately 20% above industry benchmarks for this level. No variable compensation; we believe in paying well and predictably.
- Fully remote role, based anywhere in the United States — we hire on talent, not zip code.
- Direct ownership of stablecoin operations at a network entering its launch phase.
- Modern custody and on-chain tooling — no legacy infrastructure to drag forward.
- A long-term, stable role with a company that values loyalty and invests in the people who build it.
