About the role

This Staff Accountant position involves supporting crucial financial functions, including annual audits and the monthly close process. The role requires preparing cash entries, analyzing accounts, reconciling data, and generating ad-hoc reports to ensure precise financial reporting. A key aspect is providing auditors with necessary information and maintaining regular communication on account statuses.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual audits and provide requested information to our auditors
• Assist in month-end close may include cash entries, account analysis, preparing ad-hoc reports, reconciling data, and performing analytical activities to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Weekly and monthly reporting regarding the status of accounts
• Assist with related special projects and other duties as needed
• Identify internal control improvement opportunity and assist management with process changes

Qualifications

• 3-7+ years of overall general accounting experience required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• SaaS or Technology industry experience preferred
• BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
• Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
