Technical Lead - Wallets

About the role

This role focuses on leading the development of crypto wallets and reusable wallet libraries. The Technical Lead will be responsible for the entire lifecycle, from architectural design to implementation, ensuring solutions are scalable and secure. This involves providing hands-on technical leadership, particularly in developing peer-to-peer applications, and collaborating with various teams to deliver complete technical solutions.

The position requires mentoring backend and wallet developers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality output. A key aspect of this leadership is defining the technical roadmap for wallet development and actively participating in sprint planning. The lead will also conduct code reviews and initiate optimization efforts to maintain robust and efficient systems.

Success in this role means not only delivering advanced wallet solutions but also staying current with Web3, blockchain, and DeFi trends. The individual will contribute to Tether's mission of enabling secure and cost-effective digital token transactions by pioneering financial technology and empowering businesses with reserve-backed tokens across different blockchains.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $36,000 to $60,000 USD.
