User Acquisition Sales Lead
Role in brief
Couple.com is an AI-driven dating startup that replaces traditional swiping with live, online singles events. This role focuses on user acquisition and sales, driving attendance at these events through partnerships, community engagement, and direct outreach. It suits a proactive individual with a sales or community-building background who can work autonomously to grow user numbers and retention.
About the role
This role is centered on increasing attendance at Couple.com's online singles events. The work involves a mix of strategic partnerships with singles groups and community organizers, direct outreach at social gatherings, and active engagement in online communities. The goal is to consistently attract new users and ensure their repeat attendance, directly impacting the company's growth.
The successful candidate will operate with significant independence, constantly experimenting with new acquisition methods and refining approaches based on performance data. Key performance indicators include attendance growth, cost per attendee, and user retention. This position requires a hands-on approach to sales and community building, with a focus on measurable results and continuous improvement.
Working directly with the CEO, this individual will have a direct influence on strategy beyond just execution. The role is designed for someone who thrives in a startup environment without an existing playbook, requiring them to define and implement their own successful user acquisition strategies. It is a contract position with a clear path to full-time employment based on demonstrated success.
The expected annual salary for this contract role ranges from $100,000 to $150,000, combining guaranteed pay with performance-based commission.
