Web3 Full Stack Engineer

This role focuses on full stack development for Web3 gaming platforms, requiring the design and maintenance of scalable applications. A key part of the position involves integrating blockchain functionality into web applications and gaming platforms. This includes working with wallet connection systems, interacting with smart contracts using Web3 libraries, and developing NFT-related features. The role also requires ensuring secure transaction handling and communication within blockchain environments.

The engineer will collaborate with blockchain engineers on smart contract integrations, deployment workflows, and testing. This includes supporting contract interaction layers and optimizing blockchain transaction performance. Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and real-time systems, as well as implementing security best practices and working with cloud services.

The compensation for this role is between $100,000 and $150,000 USD.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend applications for Web3 gaming platforms
• Build responsive and high-performance user interfaces using modern frontend frameworks
• Develop secure and efficient backend services, APIs, and database architectures
• Collaborate with designers and product teams to create intuitive user experiences

Blockchain & Web3 Integration

• Integrate blockchain functionality into web applications and gaming platforms
• Work with wallet connection systems such as MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar providers
• Interact with smart contracts and decentralized protocols using Web3 libraries
• Develop and maintain NFT-related features, marketplace integrations, and digital asset systems
• Ensure secure transaction handling and blockchain communication

Smart Contract Collaboration

• Collaborate with blockchain engineers on smart contract integrations and deployment workflows
• Assist in testing and debugging blockchain-related functionality
• Support contract interaction layers and decentralized application infrastructure

Backend & Infrastructure

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Engineer
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, or Vue.js
• Experience building backend systems using Node.js, Express, NestJS, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, or Redis
• Experience integrating APIs and third-party services

Web3 & Blockchain Experience

• Understanding of blockchain technology, decentralized applications, and smart contracts
• Experience working with Web3 libraries such as Ethers.js, Web3.js, Wagmi, or Viem
• Familiarity with Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, or other blockchain ecosystems
• Experience integrating crypto wallets and NFT functionality
• Understanding of blockchain security and transaction workflows

Development & Collaboration

• Experience using Git, GitHub, pull requests, and code review workflows
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Comfortable working in fully remote environments
