Accountant/Financial Controller

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with Japanese accounting standards.
Regularly reconcile exchange accounts, bank accounts, crypto wallets, and general ledger.
Manage the accounting and reporting of cryptocurrency transactions.
Develop and maintain internal controls and assist with audits.
Provide financial analysis and insights into cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with local and global regulatory requirements.
Handle tax-related matters including preparation and filing of tax returns.
Collaborate with the global finance team and other departments.

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
4–6 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
Strong communication skills in English and Japanese.
Strong technical accounting knowledge.
Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
