Assistant Controller, Global GL Operations

About the role

This role focuses on the integrity of financial operations, specifically overseeing the month-end and quarter-end close processes. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the preparation and review of financial statements. A key aspect of the position involves leading cross-functional efforts to maintain proper accounting practices.

The successful candidate will manage and review the work of junior accounting staff, contributing to their development and ensuring high-quality deliverables. This position also requires an active role in identifying and implementing enhancements to existing accounting systems and processes, as well as participating in critical financial infrastructure projects to support the company's growth.

Maintaining compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures is a core responsibility. This includes adherence to US GAAP and SOX regulations. The role is suited for someone who can drive process improvements and ensure financial accuracy within a dynamic, remote-first environment that still requires periodic in-person collaboration.

The salary for this position ranges from $52,000 to $88,000 annually, with total compensation potentially including equity and bonus eligibility.

• Remote-first role with in-person participation required throughout the year.
