Accounting Manager, GL Operations & Intercompany

About the role

This role focuses on the global intercompany framework and general ledger operations within Coinbase's accounting department. The manager will be responsible for the monthly close process, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation of intercompany transactions. This involves working closely with Tax, Treasury, and Legal teams to align on agreements and manage billing processes, including foreign exchange analysis.

A key aspect of the position is leading the design and implementation of SOX-compliant internal controls. This includes collaborating with Finance Data and Engineering teams to resolve data-related issues and supporting external audits by preparing necessary schedules. The role also contributes to broader GL-related projects and provides leadership within the accounting team.

This requires strong project management skills to handle system implementations and a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $112,000 to $188,000 USD, with additional eligibility for equity and bonuses.

• Project management and systems implementation experience.
• Experience in FinTech or Crypto industry preferred.
