About the role

The engineer will also build backend components necessary for contract interaction, covering transaction orchestration, signature flows, and Web3 SDK integrations.
A key part of the position involves managing contract deployment pipelines, which includes handling ABI/versioning, migrations, and upgrade strategies using proxy patterns, along with coordinating releases. The engineer is expected to implement secure patterns within contracts and support their testing. This ensures the integrity and reliability of all deployed smart contract solutions.
Beyond contract development, the role extends to node operations and infrastructure. This means deploying, configuring, and operating blockchain nodes and their supporting infrastructure, such as full nodes, archival nodes, and RPC endpoints. The engineer will manage node upgrades, chain configuration changes, and respond to incidents on production networks, implementing operational tooling for health checks, performance monitoring, and alerting, while also addressing blockchain-specific reliability concerns.
The annual salary for this position is between $100,000 and $200,000.

- Smart Contract Engineering & Web3 Development
- Design, develop, and maintain smart contracts (Solidity/Vyper or relevant stack) aligned to product and security requirements.
- Build backend/Web3 components for contract interaction:
- Transaction orchestration, signature flows, nonce management, gas strategies
- Web3 SDK integrations
