About the role

This role centers on smart contract engineering and Web3 development. The engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining smart contracts, ensuring they meet product and security requirements. This includes building backend components to facilitate contract interaction, such as managing transaction orchestration, signature flows, and gas strategies, as well as integrating Web3 SDKs.

A key aspect of the position involves managing the entire contract deployment lifecycle. This includes setting up deployment pipelines, handling ABI and versioning, planning migrations and upgrade strategies using proxy patterns, and coordinating releases. The engineer will also implement secure patterns for contracts and support testing efforts to ensure robustness and reliability.

Beyond smart contracts, the role extends to node operations and infrastructure. The engineer will deploy, configure, and operate blockchain nodes and their supporting infrastructure, including full nodes, archival nodes, RPC endpoints, and validator nodes. Responsibilities also cover managing node upgrades, handling chain configuration changes, responding to incidents in production networks, and implementing operational tooling for monitoring node health and RPC performance.

The listed salary range for this full-time remote position is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually.

Skills that matter here

  • Solidity: This role requires hands-on experience with Solidity for designing, developing, and maintaining smart contracts.
