Community Manager, West Africa

About the role

This role focuses on building and nurturing the Binance community across West Africa. Responsibilities include recruiting and managing volunteer programs, organizing both online and offline events, and moderating regional Telegram and Discord groups. The Community Manager will also forge partnerships with local crypto communities, student groups, and universities to expand educational outreach.

A key part of the role involves content creation and localization, ensuring materials are relevant to the region and available in local languages. The manager will also explore new platforms to grow the user base, promote Binance's brand and products, and provide direct community support. This position acts as a bridge, converting community awareness into active traders and advocates.

Success in this position means effectively gathering user insights, market trends, and community feedback to share with internal Product, Growth, and Marketing teams. Candidates should be comfortable with data analysis and ROI tracking, demonstrating strong ownership and emotional intelligence in their community management efforts. The role requires working flexible hours due to the continuous activity of crypto communities.

The salary for this position ranges from $82,000 to $138,000 USD annually.

• Experience curating content for social media platforms; Twitter, Telegram, Discord, Facebook, WhatsApp.
• Proven community or event management experience with strong ownership and emotional intelligence.
• Familiarity with Telegram moderation tools, bots, and community engagement campaigns.
• Strong analytical mindset (comfortable with data, dashboards, ROI tracking).
• Strong conflict resolution and communication skills with the ability to manage difficult conversations constructively.
• Ability to work flexible hours (crypto communities are active round the clock).
• Fluent English.
