About the role

The analyst will also contribute to the review and development of surveillance rules and alerts.
A core responsibility is conducting surveillance of trading activity to identify potential violations of Exchange rules and CFTC prohibited practices. This includes assessing alerts generated by surveillance systems and investigating regulatory issues stemming from customer activity. The role also supports the implementation of AML/KYC processes and the review of marketing materials.
Success in this position means effectively supporting new product and business plan implementations from a compliance perspective, including providing training. The analyst will be expected to formulate and implement compliance solutions and evaluate their effectiveness, while demonstrating the ability to manage projects independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting.
The annual salary for this position ranges from $128,000 to $212,000.

- Support the Chief Compliance Officer in overseeing governance and implementation of FCM’s policies and procedures, written supervisory procedures, and related documentation.
- Support the Chief Compliance Officer in responding to NFA, CFTC, Exchange, internal and other external exams, audits, reports and regulatory requests.

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years in Compliance in financial services, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of trade surveillance systems is a plus.
