Derivative Sales Analyst

About the role

This role involves cultivating relationships with high-value derivatives traders on the Coinbase platform. The primary goal is to increase their trading activity and overall volume. This includes identifying opportunities to deepen engagement with existing clients and strategically reactivating accounts that have become inactive, using data-driven insights to guide these efforts.

A key part of the work is to actively seek out and onboard new derivatives traders from competing platforms. This requires a solid understanding of the derivatives market structure and client trading patterns to spot potential upsell opportunities. The analyst will also be responsible for maintaining a clear sales pipeline and forecasting future activity.

Success in this position means consistently growing the derivatives trading volume through effective client management and new business acquisition. It also involves contributing to the development of advanced trading products and leveraging AI tools to enhance the efficiency of sales processes, particularly in prioritizing client outreach.

The target annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $125,000, with total compensation potentially including bonus eligibility and benefits.

• Pre-existing network of active institutional derivatives traders preferred.
• Utilizes generative AI responsibly.
