Role in brief
TaxBit, a company specializing in tax reporting for the digital economy, is seeking a Designer, Brand & Motion. This role involves creating marketing materials, contributing to website redesigns, and developing motion graphics. Ideal candidates will have strong design fundamentals, experience with motion work, and an interest in AI-augmented workflows to enhance brand presence.
About the role
This position focuses on visual design for marketing and brand initiatives. The designer will create various collateral, including sales decks, landing pages, and social media assets, directly supporting business development and campaigns. A key responsibility is contributing to a website redesign, where the designer will shape visual direction and component-level details.
The role also involves developing and evolving the company's brand system, translating visual identity into tangible artifacts rather than just guidelines. This includes defining typography, color palettes, and overall visual voice. A significant part of the work will be producing short-form motion and video assets, such as product explainers and animated content for social media and events.
Success in this role means elevating the overall design quality across the organization. The designer will contribute templates and reusable assets to empower other teams to produce strong visual content. This involves working cross-functionally on enablement materials, campaigns, and product launches, while also integrating AI tools into daily workflows.
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience.

From the employer
Role and Responsibilities
- Design marketing collateral that actually moves deals: sales decks, RFP responses, 1-pagers, factsheets, landing pages, event assets, social cards.
- Partner on the Phase 1 website redesign, owning visual direction, layouts, and component-level craft alongside the broader team.
- Build and evolve the brand system as we go. Typography, color, layout, iconography, the visual register of the voice. Build it through artifacts, not guideline decks.
- Produce short-form motion and video assets: product explainers, social cuts, conference loops, animated stat callouts, kinetic typography. Polish over volume.
- Help raise the design bar across Taxbit. Contribute to templates, components, and reusable artifacts so the broader team (PMM, sales, customer marketing) can produce strong work. Make good design accessible, not gatekept.
- Use an AI design stack as leverage in your day-to-day.
- Work cross-functionally on the visual layer of enablement materials, campaigns, and launches.
Professional Qualifications
Must Have
- Strong fundamentals: typography, layout, visual hierarchy, color, systems thinking. These are non-negotiable.
- Range across deliverables. Brand identity, marketing collateral, web. You don't need to be elite at all of them — show us one area you've gone deep in and the rest at credible competence.
- Real motion or video work in your portfolio: short-form narrative cuts, animated explainers, kinetic typography, product walkthroughs. Motion is a strong differentiator for this role and we'll lean toward candidates who can demonstrate it.
- Comfort with an AI-augmented workflow. You don't need to have used every tool, but you should be curious about them and integrate them into how you work.
- Comfortable working remotely across time zones. The marketing team is distributed across the US and EMEA.
- You love design. Not as a job, as a discipline. You read about it, argue about it, notice it everywhere, and you're still excited about it on a Wednesday afternoon.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing for a B2B audience or technical product, especially in fintech, compliance, infrastructure, or developer tools.
- A point of view on how brand and content work together. We treat them as one system, not two adjacent functions.
- Experience working in or building a design system from zero, not just maintaining one.
