About the role

This Financial Associate position focuses on the core accounting functions for Ethena Labs, which develops digital dollar products such as USDe and USDtb. The role involves managing financial records for purchases, sales, and treasury activities across both fiat and digital assets. A key part of the work includes performing regular reconciliations for bank accounts, custodians, exchanges, and on-chain wallets, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

The role also supports the integration of Web3 accounting software with the general ledger and assists with multi-entity consolidation by preparing specific schedules. Responsibilities extend to executing supplier and treasury payments using both traditional and digital asset rails, as well as preparing transaction schedules for VAT and tax filings. The associate will also handle accruals, prepayments, and depreciation entries.

Success in this role means reliably executing recurring financial tasks with a strong focus on supporting documentation and maintaining a structured audit trail. The ideal candidate will also contribute to identifying and suggesting improvements for accounting inefficiencies, helping to scale the company's Web3-native accounting environment.

The salary for this position ranges from $50,000 to $75,000 USD.
