About the role

This Head of Business Development role at Logos involves shaping and implementing the company's partnership strategy within the Web3 infrastructure space. The work centers on identifying key ecosystems, protocols, and infrastructure providers where Logos' privacy-focused technology can add value. A core responsibility is to build a pipeline of high-value opportunities, moving them from initial contact through technical evaluation, negotiation, and integration, ensuring tangible outcomes rather than just announcements.

Success in this position means driving ecosystem growth and adoption by expanding distribution channels for Logos' technology. This includes establishing relationships across the Web3 infrastructure, such as wallets, exchanges, DeFi protocols, and other providers, particularly those focused on privacy. The role requires representing Logos credibly to founders and technical decision-makers, translating technical capabilities into clear propositions, and bringing market feedback back to internal teams.

The role also includes managing and mentoring a small team of two BD contributors. This involves setting priorities, ensuring the team focuses on meaningful adoption opportunities, and establishing disciplined pipeline management. The Head of Business Development will remain hands-on with strategically important relationships while fostering accountability and supporting the team on complex partnerships and negotiations.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $105,000 to $175,000, with the final amount negotiable based on skills and experience.

From the employer

  • Create accountability without introducing unnecessary processes or bureaucracy.
  • Remain hands-on with strategically important relationships and opportunities.
  • Work across Logos:
  • Partner closely with protocol, engineering, product, ecosystem and communications teams.

  • Translate technical capabilities into clear propositions for different partners and use cases.

  • Experience in business development, ecosystem development, strategic partnerships or a closely related role.
