The annual salary for this position ranges from $122,000 to $225,000.

Your Mission
As MiCAR Compliance Specialist, you will play a central role in upholding and enforcing a high-standard regulatory compliance culture across the organisation. You will ensure that the company adheres to all its obligations under the MiCAR, its national implementations and other relevant supervisory requirements. This includes:
- Establishing a strong second line of defence, acting independently from operational functions and being the key point of contact for regulatory compliance and governance, while supporting the respective Compliance officers.
- Supporting the implementation and ongoing maintenance of MiCAR requirements across relevant entities.
- Ensuring timely and accurate regulatory submissions, notifications, and reporting under MiCAR.
- Supporting supervisory interactions, preparing documentation for competent authorities, and coordinating responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Supporting the embedding of MiCAR requirements into the internal control framework.
- Performing independent checks and control reviews, maintaining compliance trackers, and contributing to internal compliance reporting and governance oversight.
- Monitoring MiCAR Level 2/3 developments (RTS, ITS, ESMA/EBA guidance), assessing regulatory impact, and supporting practical implementation across functions.
- Providing regulatory support to CPL Officers, maintaining documentation and audit trails, and promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and regulatory awareness across the organisation.
Who you are
- Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Compliance or related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in financial regulation, compliance, or crypto regulation.
- Proven involvement in regulatory projects and implementation workstreams within financial services, fintech or crypto environments.
- Strong understanding of EU financial market regulation, with familiarity or practical experience in MiCAR considered a significant asset.
- Exposure to supervisory interactions and regulatory reporting processes, with the ability to navigate complex multi-entity regulatory environments.
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into clear, operationally feasible processes and controls.
- Experienced in supporting the implementation of compliance frameworks.
- Strong analytical capabilities with a high level of accuracy in documentation.
- Strong interest in crypto-assets and/or financial regulation.
