Network Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

This role involves supporting both new network projects and maintaining existing client network infrastructures. The engineer will be responsible for designing and deploying network solutions, gathering requirements, and assisting with project scope. A key part of the work includes ensuring the security and performance of client networks through various implementations.

The position requires hands-on experience with a range of network technologies, including Cisco switches, Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls, and SD-WAN. The engineer will also be involved in integrating networks during M&A activities and handling cloud networking tasks within Azure and AWS. Collaboration with senior engineers and the Project Management Office is essential for project execution.

Success in this role means effectively supporting customer networks, contributing to project-based work, and maintaining network documentation. The engineer is expected to stay current with industry trends and provide recommendations to clients, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills while working in a client-facing consultant capacity.

The salary for this position ranges from $80,500 to $138,000 annually.
