Role in brief
Symfa seeks a Senior Business System Analyst to manage and reconcile insurance data for a US client. This role involves validating data feeds, investigating discrepancies, and supporting platform migrations. Candidates with a background in insurance, finance, or accounting and strong SQL skills should apply.
About the role
This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and integrity of insurance data for a US client. The Senior Business System Analyst will be responsible for setting up and maintaining business analysis processes, creating detailed documentation like user stories and wireframes, and clarifying requirements with various stakeholders including product owners and the development team. A key aspect of the work involves supporting the migration to a new data ingestion platform.
A primary responsibility involves validating and reconciling insurance data feeds. This includes investigating any discrepancies that arise and driving them to resolution. The analyst will need to reconcile data between different feeds and against the database itself. Success in this position means effectively onboarding new data feeds and establishing reconciliation rules, ensuring high data quality.
The analyst will work directly with US stakeholders and MGAs, as well as the internal Symfa engineering team. This requires strong communication skills to gather requirements and present data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, structure ambiguous problems, and demonstrate a strong attention to detail in all tasks related to data validation and reconciliation.
The salary for this role ranges from $126,500 to $195,500 USD.
