About the role

This role focuses on expanding Ethena Labs' secured lending operations within the digital asset sector. The primary responsibility involves originating new loans with various counterparties to significantly increase the total loan book. The successful candidate will be instrumental in scaling the company's lending activities, which are crucial for supporting products like USDe, a synthetic dollar that has seen rapid growth.

A key aspect of this position is serving as the main point of contact for Ethena's secured lending relationships. This involves not only managing existing partnerships but also actively championing the growth of secured lending within the trading team. The goal is to integrate secured lending more deeply into the allocation strategy for the backing assets of USDe, fostering internal support and collaboration.

The Senior Loan Originator will also be responsible for developing and implementing new secured loan structures in collaboration with Ethena's partners. This requires a strong understanding of the digital asset lending market and the ability to innovate within this space. Success in this role means effectively growing the loan book, strengthening counterparty relationships, and contributing to the evolution of Ethena's financial products.

The annual salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $230,000.
