About the role

This role focuses on expanding Ethena Labs' secured lending operations, specifically for overcollateralized stablecoin loans. The Senior Loan Originator will be responsible for identifying and securing new lending opportunities with various counterparties. A key part of the work involves managing these relationships and advocating for increased allocation of USDe's backing assets towards secured lending within the trading team.

The position requires developing new and innovative secured loan structures in collaboration with Ethena's partners. This involves leveraging a deep understanding of the digital asset lending market and applying strong financial and quantitative analytical skills. The goal is to strategically scale the company's total loan book.

Success in this role means significantly growing Ethena's secured lending activities and strengthening its position in the digital asset financial infrastructure. The individual will operate in a remote-friendly, high-trust environment, contributing to a company that is building foundational products like USDe and USDtb to modernize global finance.

The listed salary range for this position is between $140,000 and $230,000 USD.
