Senior Product Manager, Trading

About the role

This Senior Product Manager role at 0x involves owning the strategy and roadmap for existing trading APIs or new product initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering insights from customer feedback, analyzing on-chain and internal data, and leveraging their own DeFi expertise to identify opportunities and inform product decisions. This position requires a proactive approach to understanding market shifts and customer needs.

A key aspect of this role is acting as a true partner to engineering leads, collaborating to solve complex problems, evaluate trade-offs, and determine what features to build. The Product Manager will also work with the go-to-market team to position products and drive adoption, and directly with the CEO and leadership to influence the overall product direction for the company. This involves a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.

Success in this position means delivering B2B, API, or infrastructure products that achieve significant adoption and generate revenue. The role demands a candidate who is deeply embedded in the DeFi ecosystem, understands on-chain trading and DEX aggregation, and is technically fluent enough to engage with engineers on topics like routing, execution quality, and latency. The ability to use data tools to monitor performance and identify gaps is also crucial.

The base salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $225,000 USD, in addition to equity, ZRX tokens, and benefits.

• Partner with GTM on positioning and driving adoption

• 6+ years in product, or the equivalent as a founder, GM, or trader who moved into building
• Shipped B2B, API, or infra products with real adoption and revenue
• Data-driven - you build your own Dune dashboards and dig into API performance and internal analytics in Grafana, Metabase, or similar
• Technically fluent - you hold your own with engineers on routing, execution quality, latency, and whatever else the problem demands
• DeFi-native - onchain trading, perps, dex aggregation. You're the user you're building for
• Expert AI user - you run agents, automate your workflows, and build tooling that multiplies your output

• The base salary range for this position is USD $150,000 - $225,000 + equity + ZRX tokens + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, location, business needs, and candidate preferences between the different compensation elements.
