About the role

This role involves shaping the architectural strategy for all Python systems within Manychat, a company focused on messaging automation for creators. The architect will lead efforts to migrate product components into independent Python services, evaluate new technologies, and identify areas for improvement in scalability and risk. This includes designing and evolving high-load, event-driven, and distributed systems.

A core part of the position is ensuring technical excellence by establishing and enforcing coding standards, CI/CD best practices, and automated testing. The architect will collaborate with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to improve observability, reliability, and deployment pipelines, while optimizing systems for performance and maintainability across various environments. This requires a deep understanding of asynchronous programming and Python performance.

The architect will also play a significant role in collaboration and mentorship. This includes partnering with AI/ML, Data Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to align architectural efforts. The role involves mentoring engineers, leading architecture reviews, and conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, as well as communicating complex technical concepts to both engineering and business stakeholders.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $88,000 to $130,000.
