Staff Product Designer - Financial Tools and Infrastructure

About the role

This role focuses on designing the internal financial systems and infrastructure that support Coinbase's operations. The work involves contributing to the product and design strategy for these tools, ensuring they are secure, trustworthy, and user-friendly. A key aspect is making complex financial data understandable through effective data visualization.

The Staff Product Designer will own the complete design process for significant features and new products, from initial concept to implementation. This includes creating UI and interaction patterns specifically for enterprise tools. Success in this position means establishing design standards and scalable patterns that accelerate product development across the company.

Collaboration is central to this role, requiring partnership with various cross-functional teams to identify problems and deliver solutions. The designer will apply systems thinking and UX design principles to create enterprise solutions for complex workflows, ultimately helping Coinbase build its onchain platform and global financial system.

The salary for this position ranges from $207,485 to $244,100 annually, in addition to equity and bonus eligibility.
