  • Design and implement a robust trading platform that ensures efficient execution of large trade sizes with minimal slippage.
  • Build high-performance market data pipelines and ensure seamless integration with multiple trading venues (REST/WS, FIX, and other protocols).
  • Collaborate with quant and trading teams to develop and implement new trading strategies and execution logic.
  • Apply modern software development best practices, such as TDD, BDD, test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and SOLID principles.
  • Design fault-tolerant architectures with failover mechanisms to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of high-quality engineering and technical excellence.
  • Proven experience leading and mentoring high-performing engineering teams within trading tech environments such as Investment Banks, Trading firms, Exchanges, or Market Makers.
  • Track record of building and supporting trading infrastructure from the ground up, including market data feed handlers, algo engines, backtesting frameworks, and execution platforms.
  • Expertise in modern development practices (TDD, BDD, CI/CD, SOLID), how to write modular, clean, code, and resilient system design.
  • Strong knowledge of trading mechanisms, security protocols, and infrastructure management across multiple venues.
  • Hands-on experience working with centralized crypto exchanges (CEXs) and trading instruments such as perpetual swaps and deliverable futures.
  • Understanding of order routing, trade reconciliation, and execution quality optimization across multiple trading venues.
  • Expertise in optimizing for system performance, ensuring low-latency execution, high throughput, and execution quality.
  • Strong ability to break down complex challenges into actionable solutions and make strategic technical decisions.
  • Strong advocate for TDD, BDD, and test automation with hands-on experience in unit, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
